Celebrate Community

For more than 105 years, Celebrate Health Care has been proudly supporting rural Tasmanian communities.

Our story began in the Glamorgan Spring Bay Municipality, building strong connections in beautiful seaside towns such as Swansea and its surrounding coastal communities. In 2012, we expanded our services to Dorset, known for its rolling countryside, farming families and the welcoming township of Scottsdale. Most recently, in 2024, we extended our support to Break O’Day, a region celebrated for its pristine beaches, relaxed rural living and close‑knit community spirit.

Across all three regions, we are proud that our Home Care Coordinators and staff are local people who know these communities well. Their lived experience, local knowledge and genuine community connection ensure that the support we provide is personal, respectful and truly relevant to the lives of the people we serve.

Our Programs & Community Supports

Beyond our Support at Home program across all of these regions, we offer a range of community‑focused services designed to support wellbeing, social connection and independent living:

Independent Living Units – Swansea (Glamorgan Spring Bay)

Comfortable, community‑focused units located in one of Tasmania’s most picturesque seaside towns, offering privacy, independence and local support when needed.

Open four days per week, our Social Club provides a warm, engaging environment where community members can enjoy activities, share meals and build meaningful social connections within Dorset’s rural heartland.

Lunch with Friends – Swansea (Glamorgan Spring Bay)

Held twice monthly, Lunch with Friends brings people together to enjoy good food, great company and a welcoming atmosphere in the beautiful coastal setting of Swansea.
